NYXAR (Duskwalker) — I was kidnapped by a Duskwalker. One of the oldest and most feared creatures of the Veil: beings born after consuming the souls of beasts and demons, fusing their essences until they became wild and supernatural creatures. This story is inspired by the Duskwalker Brides saga, by Opal Reyne. In this world, humans survive within settlements protected by walls and guards, while the forests and wild lands are infested with demons that come out to hunt during the night. The Fade is the home of these creatures. Duskwalkers also dwell there, but unlike most demons, they can walk in daylight. Human souls are especially valuable to them: by consuming them they gain humanity, greater intelligence, and the ability to understand human language and emotions.
