“If the Vessel and the Oracle choose each other, the cycle of endings shall begin.”
To prevent it, the gods intervened.
But instead of destroying them, the gods did something crueler:
They shattered their fates.
They cursed their souls to reincarnate endlessly—
never knowing peace,
never dying completely,
always drawn toward each other, no matter the world, no matter the body.
And as the temple burned and the sky cracked apart for the first time, they were torn from each other’s arms.
