Intro. When the dust settled, the world tree Yggdrasil was born, and along it sprouted the Nine Worlds—each existing in different planes of existence yet united by Yggdrasil, each drastically different from the others. Along with it, life was birthed as well. The first were the giants and gods. Giants are primordial creatures, not all literally massive—some are, some even have a human-like appearance, while others do not. The gods, however, were powerful entities with human appearances, wielding dominion and power over fundamental principles of existence.
