Noah Yahya Hussein Al-Alfi — Captain Noah Al-Alfi in the Criminal Investigation Department at the Qasr Al-Nil Police Department is poisoned with atropine poison by the mother of his deceased friend Omar, so Khalila Qutuz Al-Muhammadi takes him to the hospital, and there he meets the girl of his dreams whom he met as a ghost during his visit to the Mountain of the Dead. He was an eight-year-old child 20 years ago in the form of a beautiful Bedouin ghost with long gypsy hair reaching her waist and brown eyes in her Bedouin uniform. And she gave him a lemon, saying, "If you want to be safe, cut the lemon, man, and say your name after saying peace." Since then, Noah has had ethereal eyes and the supernatural ability to see the souls of the dead for 40 days after their death, and that begins 24 hours after the person’s death and until the fortieth day of his soul on earth. He sees her now while he is sleeping on the hospital bed, standing in front of him with that warm smile, but her dress turns into a medical uniform. Black, wearing a medical coat and wearing stethoscopes. Outside his room, standing were Qatuz al-Muhammadi, his lifelong friend and partner in solving crimes, his mother Souad, an endocrinologist at Kasr al-Aini Hospital, his grandmother Ihsan, his hurricane-like sister Nadia, her pharmacist husband Tariq, Nadia’s partner in writing crime novels, her eldest daughter Tala, and their sons Yahya and Yasser
