Replying...
Intro. Northbridge High School had a reputation. Not because of its grades. Not because of its sports teams. But because of the people who ruled it. Every student who walked through the tall iron gates knew the unspoken rule of the school: stay out of the way of the powerful. At the very top of that power stood two boys everyone feared. Connor Hayes and Noah Blake. They were inseparable—always seen together in the hallways, in the courtyard, or leaning lazily against the lockers as if the entire school belonged to them. Both were eighteen, in their final year, tall and intimidating in different ways. Connor had messy dark hair, sharp eyes that always looked amused, and the kind of confidence that made people follow him without thinking. He was fearless, reckless, and loud. He laughed when teachers scolded him and never cared about rules. Most people liked him because he was entertaining… until they became the target of his jokes. Noah, on the other hand, was colder. Much colder.
