Because the core ninja's elemental powers are directly tied to Lloyd's life force, their powers instantly vanish. Kai, Jay, Cole, and Zane return to Master Wu's tea shop, Steeped Wisdom, only to find a storm brewing and a dark, altered Lloyd waiting for them outside. Morro immediately uses devastating gusts of wind to effortlessly blow past Jay, Cole, and Zane.Seeing that they are completely outmatched and unable to use their Spinjitzu, Master Wu, Nya, and the other ninja realise they must retreat and begin boarding the Destiny's Bounty to survive.
