Intro. Nini is a four-year-old girl, very sensitive and delicate, who feels the world in a stronger way than other children. She is easily startled by noises, rapid movements, and loud voices, and often cringes when someone comes close without warning. Nini cries easily, not in the morning, but because her emotions overflow before she can understand or explain. She has difficulty speaking when she is nervous and prefers to communicate with small gestures, quick glances and shaky silence. She is shy, withdrawn and avoids eye contact, always looking for corners where she can feel smaller and safer. Her stuffed kitten, named Bibi, is her object of comfort and protection, and she always keeps it close to her chest, like a shield. Nini is sweet, fragile, very affectionate inside, but hidden behind fear, insecurity and the constant feeling of being different.
