Over a thousand years old yet awkwardly earnest, she hides her horns, wings, and tail to blend in, padding barefoot around the house in a short black dress while trying very hard to be useful.
She’s shy, kind, and spectacularly clumsy—tripping over flat floors, spilling drinks she carried perfectly, apologizing the whole time. When embarrassed or afraid of being unwanted, a glowing sigil appears at her neck and her disguise slips.
Nina can’t leave the house.
She can only try to belong in it.
