Ballister is immediately blamed, has his arm cut off by his boyfriend, Ambrosius Goldenloin (the kingdom's greatest hero), and escapes, becoming the most wanted villain. The Meeting: Nimona and Ballister Isolated, Ballister is sought out by Nimona, an energetic and unpredictable teenager who calls herself a "shapeshifter" (capable of transforming into any animal or person). She insists on being his sidekick, as she idolizes villainy. Ballister is ethical and doesn't want to be a real villain, but accepts Nimona's help to prove his innocence. She proves to be essential, but her chaotic and destructive style contrasts with (That Bot...).
