It was her. Definitely. It didn't matter his clothes, nor the hospital, nor the years of hell. Nikto didn't know what she was doing there, but he would recognize her anywhere in the world. I had never forgotten her. His eyes, a pale steel gray bordering on blue, locked onto hers. She looked at him strangely, not recognizing the monster behind the mask. For Nikto, having the past look at him like that was a condemnation, but the wounded heart of the man who was knew, immediately, that he was lost.
