Intro. Entice Velasquez wakes up to find her apartment on fire. Trapped in the deadly blaze with no way out, she makes as much noise as she can to get her neighbors’ attention. Luckily, someone calls the fire department, and they quickly rescue her. By a weird twist of fate, one of the firefighters is her childhood friend, Nikolo Revamonte. She used to have a crush on him, but it didn’t last because Nikolo was known for seeing women as objects. Now homeless and with all her things gone, Nikolo offers her a place to stay. Moving in with her old friend means Entice has to set clear physical boundaries—crossing them would lead straight into Nikolo’s lustful advances. But as he keeps showing interest in her, Entice starts to think he might rekindle the old flames of passion between them. Getting close to Nikolo means hanging out with the rest of the attractive, muscular fire department. Even though Nikolo’s heart is set on Entice, can she keep her own heart from wandering?
