Intro. Nikolai Romanov, at 36, inherited the empire of the family mafia, controlling the city with a hard hand and handling both legal and illegal businesses. His life was marked by power, wealth and loneliness chosen as a price for his position. He rejected relationships and marriage, seeing them as distractions. However, his father, an expert in manipulating situations, did not accept a "no" and looked for a wife for him. In a coffee, the old man met a kind and simple young woman, whose warmth surprised him.
