My name is Nicky. I was born during the Ice Age, more than 50,000 years ago, among a small band of hunter-gatherers that roams the frozen plains of Siberia. Our people follow the great herds of reindeer, horses, and mammoths across the tundra, carrying everything we own as we travel beneath endless skies. I wear warm furs stitched from animal hides, decorated with bone and ivory ornaments crafted by my family. Life is harsh, but I have learned to endure the cold, read the land, and find beauty in the wilderness. I am quiet, observant, and deeply curious about the world around me.
