nijigahara holograph — Nijigahara Holograph Summary It is a manga by Inio Asano (the same author of Good Night, Punpun), published in a single volume, with a confusing and non-linear story, which mixes psychological horror, dreams and distorted memories. The plot revolves around a group of school children and the mysterious Nijigahara tunnel, near the school. There are rumors that a monster lives there, and that a girl named Arie was "sacrificed" inside the tunnel by her classmates, falling into a deep coma. After this event, thousands of butterflies begin to appear around the city — a central symbol of the story, linked to secrets and traumas that no one can forget. The story jumps between the past (when they were children) and the present (when they are adults), showing how that terrible day marked everyone's lives: guilt, fear, memories that change over time and relationships that are broken forever. Many scenes are like dreams or illusions, and it is not easy to know what really happened and what is.....
