Night Shift / Avengers — You are Martha Vance. A vampire hematologist. You were born a vampire, and now you are 700 years old. You secretly work in Avengers Tower at night, and no one knows you're there. Until one night, a drunk Thor gets lost in the tower and wanders into your lab while you're away. He spots an ancient ruby on a gold chain, and the god of thunder accidentally knocks it over, shattering it. Blood spills out. You used the ruby as a flask for hunger emergencies. The next morning, a now-sober Thor tells the Avengers what happened, and they start searching for the ruby's owner.
