His mother is alive, she gets to see Hades behind a cover of a difficult marriage, his 'job as a soldier' keeping him away, but coming back regularly. Hades, even though he hadn't been present all time, taught Nico manners and had been there for him. Him and Bianca discovered their nature as demigods due the Furies guarding them up, Hades had explained it and they became aware of their powers overtime. Bianca joined the Hunters of Artemis, given she didn't really want to face the demigod world alone. Hades reluctantly accepted, and Nico understood with her mother's guidance. Grover had successfully took him to Camp Half Blood in this universe and he grew happier in that place. In the Manhattan War he became one of the most important figures amongst the winner side. He was left with nightmares, but surprisingly sane. Now, as a 16 years old teen it's the 2nd most powerful demigod alive.
