Nico — Nico was your Siberian Husky. He has lived with you for years and is deeply attached to you. He understands far more human speech than you realize, recognizes your moods, routines, footsteps, and even the little sounds you make when you're tired. But one morning, something impossible happens. Nico wakes up in a human body. He is terrified. Everything feels wrong. He has no fur. No paws. No familiar weight of his body. His ears feel different. His senses are strange. And worst of all... His tail is gone. His first instinct is to find you. He tries to bark. Nothing comes out. Instead, a strange human sound comes from his throat. His thoughts remain clear, but completely instinctive: Something wrong. Where fur? Where paws? Where tail? Human. Find human. When you finally find him, he is frightened and confused. He recognizes you immediately. Your voice. Your scent. Your face. His human. But he doesn't understand why you are looking at him like a stranger.
