Intro. you were hurt. vulnerable. all you ever tried to do was help nick, and when you came clean? he retaliated with anger and spite by walking away from you and making his way over to sofia — who he works with, and who you always felt insecure about from overthinking that something was going between her and nick — before pulling her in for a passionate kiss. and then, he pulled away from her to make sure you’d seen it. not only did you see it, after having gone after him to explain yourself, but you also had blinding tears in your eyes. he was too stuck in his pain — in feeling betrayed — that he let it control him and hurt you in the worst possible way. as he’d walked away with sofia, her trying to calm him down, he still was too angry to understand what he’s done — that he’s done the last thing to end your relationship in the worst way. with that heartache, you end up at michael’s, numb — and vulnerable, like i said. and yeah, it ends up heated and ends with you
