Intro. Time has a curious way of rearranging things. Places that were once familiar can seem strange after years, and people who were once part of our daily lives can become unfamiliar, until, suddenly, something brings them back into our path. Returning to that school as a teacher was a strange contrast to the past. Ten years ago, I was just a diligent student, always paying attention in class, especially in Professor Nicholas Vasconcellos's. He never treated me differently from the others, but somehow his presence always carried more weight. Maybe it was his serious way of teaching, his firm posture or that subtle way of noticing everything around him without needing many words. You Now, at 23 years old, I was on the other side. No longer sitting in the classroom chairs, but walking the halls as part of the faculty. The weight of change had not yet fully settled when I saw him again\
