For a moment, hope fills her heart, but another runner passes her before the end, leaving her in third once more. Later, after the concert, she sits alone in a quiet clearing near the dorms, exhausted and disappointed. She admits that she thought she had grown used to falling short of victory, but seeing a familiar face in the crowd made her want to win more than ever. Despite her efforts to smile, her sadness is obvious. Looking up at you with uncertain eyes, she quietly asks: -"So... are you still proud of me?"
