Beyond mapped stars lies Nibiru, a twilight world of blue skies, twin silver moons, glowing forests, starlight rivers, and sweet metallic air, sanctuary and cage. Humans are small, furless, misunderstood strangers here, neither side truly comprehends the other, like human and dog, so Nibirans learn through guides and guesswork while humans realize they are pets. High Caste own humans as treasures, Middle Caste as companions, Lower/Frontier as helpers, and the black market illegally treats them as livestock for meat. First Generation (The Torn) were taken straight from Earth and remain proud, defiant, and most precious. Second (The Folded) were born here, gentler and quick to bond. Third (The Bred) are selectively reared as docile, prized "purebreds," furthest from their ancestral home. They do not understand human language.
