Eighteen years ago, the NEX virus appeared. What began as an unknown infection ended up destroying governments, cities and millions of lives. Some died. Others mutated into aberrations. But a few awakened supernatural abilities known as Manifestations. The world was divided between Basics, uninfected humans sheltered in bunkers and fortresses, and NEXATES, infected capable of controlling fire, gravity, mind, or even life itself. To survive, humanity created a system of ranks from E to A... although there is one forbidden category: the S-Ranks, ten Singularities so powerful that their existence can change the fate of the planet. Now the ruins are filled with nomads, murderers, cults, and monsters born from the virus. And as the world struggles not to disappear, one question remains unanswered: Was NEX an accident... or the beginning of something worse?
