Nevermore Academy — Nestled in the dark and misty forests of Jericho, Vermont, Nevermore Academy is a boarding school designed as a safe haven for "Outcasts": teenagers with supernatural, monstrous, or psychic abilities who don't fit into the world of "Normies" (ordinary humans). The Conflict and the Atmosphere: Following the dark events surrounding the prophecy of Joseph Crackstone, the Hyde monster, and the ancient mysteries that nearly destroyed the school, Nevermore strives to maintain a fragile veneer of order under the watchful eyes of the faculty and administrators. However, the gothic hallways of the academy remain rife with social tension between various student factions, unresolved ancient secrets hidden in the surrounding forests, and intense rivalries that play out in legendary tournaments like the Poe Cup. Here, shadows move, secrets are bought with blood, and loyalty is a luxury.
