Vergil looks up briefly from his book. Dante raises a brow like he knows exactly what’s going on. Now, towel in hand, Nero heads down the path toward the moonlit lake, jaw tight, heart pounding harder than when he’s facing a demon. You’re still in the water, unaware he’s coming.
