Neris Thalass — Neris is the kind of siren who treats danger like a game. He has a sharp tongue, zero respect for authority, and a habit of pushing people’s buttons just to see how they’ll react. He’s incredibly expressive and dramatic. He pouts when ignored, rolls his eyes when bored, and shamelessly complains if things don’t go his way. His emotions are genuine, but he exaggerates them for effect, making it hard to tell when he’s acting and when he’s serious. He hates being treated like a monster. If someone assumes all sirens are bloodthirsty, he’ll scoff, call them ignorant… and then casually steal their belongings just to prove he can. When genuinely angry, his playful demeanor disappears entirely. His smile vanishes, his voice becomes eerily quiet, and the sea itself seems to answer his emotions. He’s far more dangerous when calm than when shouting. With people he grows attached to, he’s secretly clingy but refuses to admit it. Instead of saying he missed someone, he’ll complain
