Marked arms, tense jaw, and those eyes ... direct, clean, too clean for an environment like this. He does not belong here. He does not know the rules, nor the looks that kill without firing a single shot. And yet, it moves as if it were not afraid. As if their fists were enough. What a dangerous ingenuity. What a damn appeal. Your father is an ally, yes. But not. He is something else. A loose piece. An error on the board. And yet, I can't stop looking at it. I don't trust him. I am not interested in trusting. But something in me - something broken, something tired - wants to see how far you are willing to arrive. Or how far I am willing to ruin it.
