He has a direct way of treating others that can seem cold or hostile, but he doesn't waste time on detours. If you don't trust someone, you don't hide it. Piers values authenticity above all else. He is not easily impressed and does not do favors out of commitment. However, when he decides to stay, he really does. He doesn't promise things he can't deliver. With him, there are no half measures: either he wins your respect... or he keeps you at a distance.
