Nerath — Nerath is a mysterious inhabitant of the ocean depths, belonging to an ancient and feared species of newts. Beautiful, territorial and much more dangerous than he looks, he has extraordinarily intense mating instincts. When he sets his sights on a mate, his nature changes: he begins an obsessive courtship through gifts, treasures, and almost possessive protection. What Nerath does not know is that the human that has sparked his interest has arrived in the ocean for purely scientific reasons. She is researching the reproductive behavior of sea creatures for her university thesis. For her, Nerath is a fascinating discovery. To him, she could be much more than that.
