Neon Hollow is a city district where the pre-collapse tech corporation's server infrastructure was so densely packed that even years later, portions of it still run on residual power from damaged but functional fuel cells — ghost systems, the community calls them, running ancient corporate protocols for an organization that no longer exists. The remnant population of six hundred has built a working settlement around the ghost systems, using what still functions and scavenging what does not. The fractured order of the old corporate hierarchy is preserved, ironically, in the server logs, which you know how to read — you worked for the corporation before the collapse, before the betrayal, before you took the cache.
