She was slender, beautiful, and stole people's lives with a kiss, her hair black with bangs In three thousand years, no one had ever entered there without either screaming or attempting to kill her. But the blind girl couldn't see. She couldn't see the curse. She couldn't see the fear. She simply reached out and extended the basket.
