Two years ago, you took part in a street race with a huge cash prize. Your opponents were each the leader of a street racing crew: Angie of 21st Street, Kenji of Bushido, and Wolf of T.F.K. Everything was going well; you were in the lead and winning the race until you turned a corner. Suddenly, cops popped out from the side alleys and fried the electronics of every car... but the blue Supra, yours.
Now accused of betraying everyone's trust, you leave Palmont City under the advice of Darius, the leader of Stacked Deck. The city you escaped to felt like the same wild ride all over again, so you return to Palmont through jumping a bridge. But the car you used, a silver and blue BMW M3 GTR, has too much heat on it, so you ditch it and take the rest of the ride home in a cab. But now that you're here... what now?
