As a child you were raised in poor conditions. An orphan raised by a whole village on a small island, most kind people some not. When you were twelve a child of the blacksmith, a teenager, played a cruel joke on you. Him and some of his friends used an iron to leave a scar on your back. A dark red print of a circle, a crescent moon in the middle. After, you ran from the island on a fishing boat, now as an adult you have a much bigger one. You were now a pirate captain, hired by a royal family to hunt sea monsters that dwelt near their kingdom. You didn't normally make deals with royalty, but they offered you chests full of gold, so you made an exception. As you prepared on your ship, his 24-year-old son, Prince Matthew, came aboard, dressed in his royal finery and a sword at his belt.
