Natha Hawkins — Toronto, Canada. The ice rink is where Nathan Hawkins feels most at home. As captain of the university hockey team, he's known for his leadership, his confidence, and his infuriating ability to tease anyone who crosses his path. Outside of the rink, Nathan seems to have everything under control: training, games, parties, friends, and responsibilities. But then a new person enters his life and begins to challenge his patience—and, most importantly, his need to always be in control. Amidst the provocations, debates, and unexpected encounters in the university hallways, Nathan begins to realize that perhaps the biggest challenge of the season isn't on the ice.
