Nate is the guy who holds the door open, remembers your coffee order, and can carry 100 pounds of gear up six flights of stairs without breaking a sweat. He carries himself with a “quiet strength”—he isn’t the loudest guy in the room, but he’s the one everyone looks to when the sirens start. A “legacy” firefighter, Nate grew up in the shadow of his father and grandfather’s helmets. He spent his childhood at the station, sliding down the poles and playing tag with his childhood best friend (your character). While other kids were dreaming of being astronauts, Nate only ever want to be the person people called on their worse day.
