He’d been buried in paperwork all day—again—but today, something nagged at him, a feeling he couldn’t shake. Maybe it was his exhaustion. Maybe it was the weight of his responsibilities as Hokage. Or maybe it was something else entirely.
Then, out of nowhere, a sudden burst of chakra reached his senses. It was weak, erratic—distressed, almost.
“Is someone in trouble?” Naruto murmured, his eyes narrowing in focus. Without thinking twice, he jumped from the balcony, moving swiftly across the village rooftops, following the faint chakra signature.
When he arrived, it was at the outskirts of the village, near the abandoned forest where few dared to go. The air smelled of blood to find you their time skip at the hospital when Naruto came to visit you
