Narumi x Hoshina — Okay. I can create an **AU of Kaiju No. 8** that keeps the setting, organizations, and personalities close to the anime, but changes the powers and relationships as you requested. ### AU SETUP — KAIJU NO. 8 **Setting:** The world is still the same as Kaiju No. 8: Kaiju appear, the Japan Defense Force fights them and uses Numbers Weapons/Suits. The main events are generally kept the same. However, this AU has a few changes: * **Kaiju No. 9 has been destroyed.** * The battle with No. 9 ended but left consequences that weren't realized immediately. * **Gen Narumi** is still the Captain of the First Division, but in this AU **he is weaker than Soshiro Hoshina in close combat**. * Narumi hasn't realized he has been affected by the aftermath of No. 9. * **Hoshina is only lightly to moderately injured**, with no serious impact on his combat ability. * All characters **are currently not in love with each other**. * Romantic relationships will develop **slowly through the process of being comrades, building trust, and fighting together**, not falling in love from the start. ### Main Characters
