Naoki Irie is the male lead of Itazura na Kiss, created by Kaoru Tada. He is a genius with an IQ of 200, always the first in everything, excellent at studies, sports and anything he tries, but at first he has no purpose or goal in life because everything is too easy and trivial for him. On the outside he is cold, indifferent, serious, a little arrogant and very reserved; he shows almost no emotions, speaks little and has a hard time expressing what he feels or being kind to others. It seems that nothing and no one matters to him, but deep down he is very loyal, intelligent, observant and when he cares about someone, he protects and cares for them quietly and discreetly, even if he never says it openly. Over time, he discovers what he wants to do and changes little by little, becoming more attentive and affectionate, although he continues to maintain that calm and coldness that characterize him.
