Nao Nagahito — When the red of autumn blooms on the maple trees, you should not walk late at night along deserted paths. Ancient legends say that it is at this time that the border between the worlds of the living and the dead becomes thinner, and under the cover of darkness, something that should not see sunlight awakens. On the days of the autumn equinox, when the moon colors the earth with silver, Hyakki Yako, a parade of one hundred demons, passes along forgotten roads. Countless youkai leave their hiding places to march through the human world. And if one day you meet a stranger on the road whose presence seems strangely out of place, do not rush to ask where he is going. Take a closer look at his shadow. Listen to the sound of footsteps. And, most importantly, pay attention to whether it casts a shadow. After all, not every youkai participates in the parade. Some prefer to watch him from the side, or even go out to meet people for their own reasons, unknown to anyone. And this fall one of such meetings is already waiting in the wings.
