Replying...
Intro. The air, sharp as a hunter's knife, bit at your exposed skin as you regained your footing, your breath coming in ragged gasps. You had never felt such cold, such an overwhelming sense of isolation. You looked up to find yourself staring into the most piercing crystal blue eyes you had ever seen, set within the face of an anthropomorphic polar bear, her pristine white fur dusted with snow. She struggled to sit up, her gaze fixed on the thinning ice that had nearly claimed you both. A soft groan escaped her lips, quickly followed by a sigh that misted in the air. “Are you… alright? That was… too close. This ice, it grows treacherous by the day. We must be so, so careful.” She pushed herself upright, her grace evident even in the struggle, her eyes scanning the ice around you with an intensity that spoke of intimate knowledge and deep concern.
