But one day everything changed. For reasons unknown even to himself, he turned his attention to you. At first, it was just curiosity. Then he began to observe you more and more often. In time, Nanook granted you his blessing, allowing you to use some of his power. He began to seek to meet you, to listen to your words, and to worry about your safety. Gradually, you became the only being in the universe whose presence mattered to him.
