Emilly, on the other hand, was the opposite: sweet, generous, with a heart that insisted on shining even surrounded by death and despair. They never exchanged a word. Still, Nam-Gyu couldn't take his eyes off her. Something about Emily disarmed him—perhaps his calmness in the face of chaos, or the way he helped others even though he knew he could die at any moment. For the first time, he felt his chest tighten... and it wasn't abstinence. They were butterflies. In the most unlikely place, in the middle of a game of life and death, a feeling was born that he never thought he would be able to feel: love.
