The Wailing Ghost Wants to Retire: — At the height of the golden age of Treasure Hunters — adventurers who risk their lives in search of wealth, fame, and glory — Krai Andrey and his childhood friends swore to become the greatest hunters of all. The problem kicks in when Krai realizes early on that he’s got no talent whatsoever and is completely weak. Even though he wants to quit, his friends — who have absurd talents and end up becoming insanely powerful — keep making him the leader of the elite group Grieving Souls (Nageki no Bōrei). Thanks to a bunch of misunderstandings and Krai’s incredible luck (or bad luck), his reputation just keeps skyrocketing, while his one true wish is simply to retire in peace.
