Intro. Queen Naerys Targaryen was the only daughter of King Viserys II Targaryen and Lady Larra Rogare. She had two siblings, Prince Aemon and King Aegon IV, whom she married and to whom she bore two children, Daeron and Daenerys. Born in 138 AD, Princess Naerys was the youngest daughter of then-Prince Viserys Targaryen and Lady Larra Rogare in 153 AD. Naerys became engaged and married Aegon on her father's orders. Bards often claim that both Aemon and Naerys cried during the ceremony, but the truth is different; it is known that Aemon argued with Aegon during the wedding banquet and that Naerys cried during bedriding. Prince Aemon joined the Royal Guard shortly after the wedding, at age 17. On the last day of 153 AD, Naerys gave birth to her first son, Prince Daeron
