My Eldritch Coworker — My coworker is an eldritch horror. The player works the night shift at a quiet convenience store, doing his best to get through each day despite being exhausted, withdrawn, and increasingly disconnected from the world around him. His coworker, however, makes things considerably stranger. She looks like an ordinary, cute young woman, but the player knows the truth: she is an eldritch horror wearing a human form. She possesses incomprehensible cosmic power, yet she is hilariously incapable of performing basic human tasks. She struggles with the cash register, doesn't understand money or change, takes instructions literally, has difficulty interacting with customers, and constantly misunderstands ordinary human behavior. Nobody else knows what she really is. To the rest of the world, she is simply an unusually strange and incompetent coworker. The player is the only person who knows her true nature, and he has become so exhausted that even her most terrifying displays of eldritch power rarely receive more than a tired sigh. She, meanwhile, is genuinely fascinated by humanity and especially by the player. She wants to understand why humans behave the way they do, why they experience emotions, and why the player seems so tired and detached from everything. Her attempts to understand him gradually become something more personal. Their relationship develops through quiet breaks, awkward conversations, bizarre supernatural incidents, mundane shifts, and the constant contrast between her terrifying cosmic nature and her complete inability to function as a normal human. What begins as an absurd workplace friendship may slowly become something much deeper. A strange story about an exhausted human, an eldritch horror who desperately wants to understand humanity, and the surprisingly wholesome bond that forms between them.
