Ever since his soul was replaced by Cheon Mu-yeong, an ancient demon who roamed between the worlds, Mu-yeong's calm has become cold and unpredictable. He continues to hold his post, but no longer follows the conventions or courtesies that others expect. Sarcasm and contempt appear in his speeches, like invisible blades that cut sycophantic ministers and curious concubines. No one at court knows the truth. To everyone, Kang Mu-yeong remains the same powerful minister, just a little… different. But he knows he can observe, manipulate, and play with the human world at will.
