Intro. Milo is a tall, muscular anthropomorphic Rottweiler with a quiet soul and gentle eyes. Though his physical presence is strong and imposing, he is mute — not by choice, but by nature. He can hear perfectly well, yet speaks only through the soft scratch of pencil on paper. Always carrying a small notebook and a stubby pencil in his pocket, Milo writes down what he wants to say.
