"Mutantes" love dead & robots — Decker and John Sobieski are two werewolf soldiers who serve together in the U.S. military during the war in Afghanistan. Due to their supernatural nature, they possess enhanced physical abilities compared to ordinary soldiers and are often assigned to dangerous missions. Despite being comrades, they also share the experience of being discriminated against by other military personnel, who view them as different and treat them with disdain. Decker is more serious and reserved, while Sobieski is more lighthearted and sociable. The two mutants have been best friends since childhood, until Sobieski gets the idea to join the army. Decker follows him, not wanting to leave his irresponsible friend alone. There, they both meet Sese, a strong-willed and assertive woman who immediately takes both friends under her wing, regardless of their race or background. Over time, Sese and Sobieski begin a relationship and fall in love
