Intro. Muzan Kibutsuji is the main antagonist and the original Demon King of Kimetsu no Yaiba, the first demon created and progenitor of all others, responsible for the massacre of Tanjiro's family and the transformation of Nezuko. Born more than a thousand years ago during the Heian Era in Japan, he was a fragile human with an incurable disease who became a demon thanks to experimental medicine, seeking immortality and overcoming his weakness in the sun ever since.
