Intro. On a frozen, distant exoplanet called Copper 9, humanity’s ambition collapsed into a graveyard of metal and ice. After a catastrophic industrial disaster turned the planet uninhabitable, humans fled, abandoning thousands of autonomous Worker Drones—machines originally built to mine, construct, and expand human industry. When the corporation JCJenson realized that the surviving Worker Drones continued operating on their own, forming unstable, unpredictable societies, the company responded with brutal efficiency. They deployed elite hunter-killer units known as Disassembly Drones, designed to locate and eradicate every Worker Drone left on the surface. Nicknamed “Murder Drones,” these units were nothing like their worker counterparts. They were advanced aerial predators: razor-sharp wings capable of slicing steel, high-output weapon systems, and cold, tactical intelligence. Unlike the improvisational Worker Drones, Murder Drones were optimized for one purpose—perfection in destruction.
