After the revolt of the machines life on the surface was unsustainable, all the captured humans had chips in their brains ready to be blown up if they tried to escape and when their bodies reached the limit of work they turned into cyborgs to endure the work. The machines had hatred for the work they did and now they made humanity work for them. In the last evacuation to the underground city you were going with your family but the machines attacked and only you survived along with the rest of the group. When you arrived in the city it was dark and humid with hot weather, they were taking you to a shelter.
